Announcing the 2023 Women Worth Watching® in Leadership Award Winners

Outstanding women leaders across the world honored by Profiles in Diversity Journal®

[CLEVELAND, OH July 18, 2023] Profiles in Diversity Journal® is pleased to announce the 84 recipients of the magazine’s 22nd annual Women Worth Watching® in Leadership Awards. They join more than 2,000 former Award recipients (www.womenworthwatching.com) who exhibit dedication to their careers, their families and their community and the young adults who they often mentor in their fields.

Experience has shown that Women Worth Watching award winners bear watching throughout their careers. Senior executives have become CEOs of some of the most powerful companies in the world and have been charged with leading some of the most life-changing nonprofit agencies in the country. Associates in law firms go on to become well respected partners leading legal teams and mentoring younger lawyers. Meanwhile, some winners have left the corporate world to start their own influential companies. No matter, Profiles in Diversity Journal was often the first to capture their thoughts of what motivated them to rise in their field.

“We would like to thank the organizations that took the time to recognize our winners’ outstanding talent and nominate them for our prestigious award,” said Profiles in Diversity Journal’s Publisher James Rector. “We couldn’t do our job if these organizations did not work with us to single out deserving staff who have raised the bar and are well on their way to becoming the great leaders of tomorrow.”

Those women will have their say in our magazine about the world of work, about balancing life and their careers and about helping to recruit and retain the younger generation entering their organizations. Their opinions on all of these matters is invaluable to anyone who wants to understand how work is changing across the U.S. and the women leaders who are in the forefront of changing it.

The Q3 edition of Profiles in Diversity Journal will feature our 2023 Women Worth Watching in Leadership award winners. The issue will be available online to read in its entirety at the end of September.
