Announcing the 2022 Women Worth Watching® Award Winners

Women Leading the Way to Excellence in the Workplace, the Marketplace, and the World

[CLEVELAND, OH June 14, 2022] Profiles in Diversity Journal® is pleased to announce the 85 recipients of the magazine’s 21st annual Women Worth Watching® Awards. These women join more than 2,000 past Award recipients (see www.womenworthwatching.com) as outstanding examples of leaders who demonstrate talent, courage, persistence, commitment, and generosity of spirit.

Past Women Worth Watching have gone on to become CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, including Mary Barra, chairman and CEO of General Motors; Lynne Doughtie, recently retired chair and CEO of KPMG; Marillyn Hewson, executive chairman of Lockheed Martin; Michele Buck, chairman, president, and CEO of Hershey’s; and Beth Mooney, retired chairman and CEO of Key Bank. Other awardees have led key business units, opened new markets, launched their own entrepreneurial ventures, and mentored the next generation of women leaders.

“As we begin our third decade honoring Women Worth Watching, we continue to take pride in our successful collaboration with organizations, large and small, who value diversity and inclusion, says Profiles in Diversity Journal Publisher James Rector. “It is through our relationships with these committed organizations that we are able to discover these Women Worth Watching, and honor them with this annual Award. We hope this award will serve to further energize and inspire today’s extraordinary recipients, and the many outstanding women who will become tomorrow’s leaders.”

Each Woman Worth Watching, whose abilities, commitment, and achievements will be featured in Profiles in Diversity Journal’s Q3 issue, will share her experiences, opinions, and words of advice with our readers, many of whom may become tomorrow’s Women Worth Watching.

Organizations, large and small, that nominate candidates for this Award demonstrate C-suite support of women in leadership, and the inclusion of the Award winners in the magazine enhances the reputations of the organizations that employ, support, and empower these remarkable women.

The 2022 Women Worth Watching edition of Profiles in Diversity Journal will be available for viewing online in August.
